Glendalough of Ireland – Beautiful Irish Landscape handmade art using needle felt and wool felting.

Glendalough is a beautiful handmade wool felted using needle felting and recycled woven products to create this magnificent piece. This Felt Art piece is so bright and colourful.  It truly captures the rolling hills of the Irish countryside. Ireland inspires Irish handmade art. From the initial design to the artwork, framing and packaging takes place in my Rathfarnham studio in Dublin. To customise this piece use the personalisation option to add a small inscription or change the name of the piece.

My inspiration

Ireland inspires me. I get most of my inspiration from hill walking in the Dublin mountains and also walking the beaches and hills of my native Connemara, on the West Coast of Ireland. All my textile needle felted pieces are handmade in Ireland for Irish interiors. Irish Textile Wool Artist Laura Conneely is based in Dublin. My Irish landscape, Sea Art and wild flowers are made with fabrics and wool woven products. Always inspired by nature. Unique and bespoke personalised gifts are all handmade in Ireland.

Sustainability and to recycle where possible

For me, it is all about the colour, volume and texture in each piece of Textile Felt Art. It is important to me to use sustainable products and to recycle as much as I can. Therefore this allows me to create pieces that bring a sense of peace and harmony into everyday life.
