Sail Boats (Ocean Artist Beach Art, Irish Art Dublin Ireland)

Sail Boats – Irish Art, Beach Art, Ocean Artist based in Dublin Ireland

This original textile art piece 23 x 23cm is fully framed and made from wool, sustainable woven products. The costal walk in Greystones inspired this piece with all the fabulous sail boats close to shore. I love how this Irish landscape piece truly captures the sheer velocity of the ocean. The flow, movement, and sheer energy this piece exudes is amazing. I used sustainable materials and hand dyed textile pieces. All my Irish Art and Beach Art are handmade in Ireland. Textile Irish Artist Laura Conneely (Ocean Artist) uses a technique called needle felting in her Beach Art and Commissions. Recently featured in the Irish Times, Home and Design.  It gave me a huge opportunity to showcase my work.

Work Process for Irish Artist & Ocean Artist

From the initial design to the artwork, framing and packaging takes place in my Rathfarnham studio in Dublin. To customise this piece, use the personalisation option to add a small inscription or change the name of the piece.

Inspiration for Beach Art & Irish Art

I get my inspiration from walking the beaches and hills of my native Connemara, on the West Coast of Ireland. All my Beach Art textile pieces are handmade in Ireland by Irish Artist Laura Conneely. My Irish landscape, Sea Art and wildflowers are made with recycled textile fabrics and wool woven products (Recycled Art).

Harmony for Irish Artist

Inspired by nature. Unique and bespoke personalised gifts are all handmade in Ireland. For me, it is all about the colour, volume, and texture in each piece of textile wool art. I create pieces that bring a sense of peace and harmony into everyday life. With a surname like Conneely I originate from a small town in Connemara. Irish textile wool artist Laura Conneely (Ocean Artist) has a website www.lauraconneelyart.ie
